What is a good bike to buy for beginner tri?

I am competing in my first triathlon in June 08. I wanted to buy a bike but have no idea which kind. I dont want to get to pricey. Not expecting to be first. lol. Any advice?
The cheaper the better. Again I have no gadge for bike prices.

1st decide on a budget. If you want some ideas post that budget to give a clue as to your price range.
