the walkydog vs the springer (bike riding w/ your dog)?
there are these 2 products that are meant for riding your bike with your dog. one is ‘the walkydog’. the other is called ‘the springer’.
has anyone used either product? i have an 88 lb lab and im about 125lbs. i want to make sure both my dog and myself are safe when biking.
I was not familiar with either product, but looked both up and the springer interests me. My dog is a Great Dane and will outweigh me when fully grown… I like how the springer reduces shock from them lunging/pulling, since that is the biggest concern I have and one that has prevented me from trying to bike with my dog.
If your lab doesn’t lunge or anything, then the walkydog is probably good too. I personally think (atleast with my dog) that $8 is good to invest in the springer to lessen the pulling.
